India Love apology follows Streamer Awards Breakout Streamer stage moment prompts backlash

India Love issues a public apology after interrupting the Breakout Streamer award at the 2025 Streamer Awards

India Love has issued a public apology following backlash over her interruption of the Breakout Streamer of the Year announcement at the 2025 Streamer Awards.

The incident occurred after FaZe Adapt was named the winner, prompting India Love to take the stage and argue that Rakai and DDG should have received the award instead.

During a later livestream, she addressed the moment directly, acknowledging responsibility for disrupting the event. She stated that her actions did not reflect her values or those of her team and described the incident as “completely unnecessary and distasteful.”

She also said she had been under the influence at the time and emphasised that this was “a true apology, meaning no excuses or explanations for my behaviour.”

India Love apologised individually to FaZe Adapt, noting that she had interfered with his achievement. “There was no reason or excuse to diminish your light in your moment,” she said, describing her behaviour as “selfish and inconsiderate.”

She extended her apology to FaZe Clan as a whole, acknowledging their accomplishments and adding that she was “still learning and growing.”

She also apologised to QT Cinderella, host of the Streamer Awards. “I appreciate you inviting me,” she said. “There is no excuse for my behaviour. It was distasteful and unnecessary. I had no business being on that stage.”

Throughout her message, India Love highlighted the importance of accountability. She reflected on how she would have felt if the situation had been reversed and noted the need for personal change, stating, “I’m too grown to be doing what I did.”

She concluded by describing the incident as a learning moment, quoting a line that resonated with her, “Your mistakes can either be a coffin or a classroom.” She added that she intended to step back, think carefully, and let future actions demonstrate improvement.
