Veteran Lyceum teacher Hamida Osman passes away
She joined Lyceum in 1998, held a Bachelor's from Kinnaird College in English Literature

Hamida Osman, a revered teacher of 19 years at the Lyceum, passed away Tuesday morning in Karachi.
She joined Lyceum in 1998 and held a Bachelor's from Kinnaird College in English Literature. She was a teacher of English and an Executive Council member at The Lyceum for the past 32 years.
Scheherazade Asdar Ahmad, founder and principal at the Lyceum, told The Express Tribune, "Principled to the core, she was a lady of a rare kind of integrity, loyalty, commitment, generosity, courage, humility, grace, dignity, and kindness. She stands so tall - very tall".
"She was an icon, a pure, beautiful soul who stood tall and strong, wise and correct. Kind and beautiful. Unwavering in all her commitments and relationships. She fought cancer for many years".
Wife of ( late )M. Osman and the daughter of ( late) Brigadier Mirza Hamid Hussain, Hamida Osman, served as a testament to service, strength of character, and the quiet power of a principled spirit.
Funeral prayers will be offered at Asr time today, December 9, at her home.
