Aryan Khan recently spoke with GQ about his debut Netflix series Ba***ds of Bollywood and what’s next in his creative journey.

He highlighted the layered humour and insider satire of the show, noting that viewers might miss some jokes on the first watch. “If you binged it in the first week, you should rewatch it. There are jokes people miss because one punchline overlaps with the next,” he said.

The 28-year-old also reflected on working with his father, Shah Rukh Khan, who appeared in a cameo role: “He’s the easiest person to work with. He knows exactly what to do, how to do it. And when he’s on set, everyone else behaves exceptionally well.”

On his own contributions, Aryan revealed some voice work: “Fun fact, in the show when Salman Khan says, ‘What party? Bullshit party,’ that’s actually me.”

Discussing the reception to Ba***ds of Bollywood, he added, “I’m extremely grateful. As a creator, the biggest reward is people enjoying what you’ve poured your heart into. I did expect it to do well… if I don’t believe in the project as the director, who will?”

Looking ahead, Aryan emphasized focusing on writing and developing new projects. “I have two or three projects I want to develop, but nothing’s locked in yet. This year is about sitting down, writing, and shaping whatever comes after,” he said.
