Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, under scrutiny after viral pub video in Bengaluru
A Bengaluru pub video has sparked debate over Aryan Khan’s behavior and past controversies

A video recently circulating on social media appears to show Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, raising his middle finger during a pub outing in Bengaluru.
The footage reportedly captures him at a pub under the Ashoknagar Police Station jurisdiction, alongside acquaintances including Zaid Khan and Mohammad Nalpad, identities cited in multiple media reports.
The clip, which surfaced shortly after the gathering on November 28, drew widespread public backlash.
The Aryan Khan incident in Bengaluru is NOT a small matter. On Nov 28, at a pub under @ashoknagarps he openly showed the middle finger to citizens.

Under BNS Section 352 & 356, any act of public insult, provocation or obscene gesture is a punishable offence. Why is @BlrCityPolice… pic.twitter.com/FN5mPfAUfM
In response, a local lawyer filed a complaint requesting a formal FIR, alleging the gesture qualifies as public indecency and insulting modesty, especially given the presence of women and families at the venue.
Authorities have confirmed they are reviewing CCTV recordings and statements from pub staff as part of a preliminary probe.
This incident comes three years after Aryan’s 2021 arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a high‑profile drug case following a cruise‑ship raid; he was later granted bail and was not convicted. The earlier case remains a prominent moment in his public life.
As debate swirls over the pub video, reactions remain polarized.
Critics say the act was disrespectful and insensitive, demanding accountability, while supporters call it a brief, perhaps poorly judged moment blown out of proportion.
The ongoing investigation, under recent public‑decency and public‑order laws, will determine whether the video will lead to charges or be dismissed as a private misdemeanour.
