Four killed in 'encounters'

Four alleged drug dealers were killed in encounters with the Crime Control Department (CCD) in Faisalabad.

Suspected drug dealers Ehsaan alias Shani Abbas of Chak 562-G.B. and Wilayat alias Ali Sher were injured in a crossfire. Both died on the way to the hospital. SHO Syed Ghulam Abbas Shah intercepted two suspicious motorcycles near Tilanwala graveyard. The four riders allegedly opened fire on the CCD team. In the exchange of fire, Shafiq, identified as an ice dealer, was injured by his accomplices' firing.

He died on the way to hospital. In another incident, four armed suspects reportedly opened fire on police, prompting retaliation. Akmal alias Janoo Masih was injured allegedly by firing from his own group.
