TikTok girl hair-cutting case shelved as victim, suspects go missing
Police tight-lipped as probe reveals extortion gang behind staged incident

A case, registered on November 25 after a video went viral showing a TikToker girl’s hair being cut—has quietly been shelved, with both the alleged victim and the four arrested suspects are now missing.
Despite police claiming arrests and issuing hourly updates on November 25, no suspect has been produced before any Rawalpindi or Islamabad court in the past five days. Police spokespersons, once active with updates on the case, have since gone silent.
It has emerged that the alleged victim, known on TikTok as Aiman Fatima, neither lodged any complaint nor approached police. Instead, the FIR was lodged on the complaint of a police official, Asad Hussain.
The case initially stemmed from Lohi Bher police station in Islamabad. After the first arrests, it was transferred to Rawat police station, whose SHO refused to take it due to its 'dirty nature'. It was then shifted to Naseerabad police station in Rawalpindi.
According to sources, Aiman lived in Dhoke Khaba. Her parents expressed anger when approached, saying she had run away from home and refused to discuss the matter further. The TikToker girl was reportedly involved in making videos with multiple groups of boys for money.
The hair-cutting incident occurred in the first week of September when one group of boys allegedly punished her after seeing her with another group. The matter was taken to Islamabad police, where a settlement worth Rs150,000 was reached on September 10, effectively closing the case.

However, when one member of the group did not receive his share, he leaked the video and fled to Lahore, triggering a renewed cycle of clashes and extortion between the groups.
Although Rawalpindi police publicly released data and blurred photos of four arrested suspects, SHO Naseerabad Sikandar now claims no arrests were ever made. Judicial Magistrate Sofia Bibi also confirmed that between September 25 and 29, no suspect was produced before her, nor has any duty magistrate granted remand since November 25.
Sources said the entire episode was orchestrated by a gang that traps uneducated young girls with promises TikTok fame, stages incidents like hair-cutting, and leaks videos to earn money. Some police officials are allegedly part of the racket.
The girl was reportedly shown under a fake name, and police were instructed to present the matter as belonging to Naseerabad jurisdiction—despite the incident took place in Lohi Bher, Islamabad, where it had been settled months earlier.
At present, the alleged victim is missing, the suspects are nowhere to be found, and the case has been officially closed, raising serious questions about police conduct, internal collusion, and the criminal network operating behind the scenes.
