Govt to spotlight Kashmir issue worldwide

Minister for Kashmir Cause, Arts and Languages of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Nabila Ayub on Tuesday said the government would utilise all available resources to highlight the Kashmir cause and expose Indian state terrorism at the global level.
She was addressing a departmental briefing at the Kashmir Policy Research Institute KPRI attended by Secretary Kashmir Cause, Arts and Languages Rafiqat Hussain Khan, Director Raja Muhammad Sajjad Khan and other officials.
Nabila said the government and her ministry would work within available resources to achieve key targets over the next six months. She added that administrative and financial requirements of various wings and departments would be met to ensure their effective functioning.
The minister also directed that progress of all departments and staff be reviewed on a fortnightly basis.
She instructed the Kashmir Cause secretary to fully activate all wings of the Liberation Cell, including Kashmir Centres at divisional headquarters and to organise programmes under the Liberation Cell and the Kashmir Cultural Academy across all districts of AJK.
She stressed that the research work of the Liberation Cell and other departments should be widely promoted through digital, social, electronic and print media at both national and international levels.
The minister further directed that literature related to the Kashmir cause be shared with major universities, research bodies and policy institutes to enhance awareness nationwide.
