Doechii gives Ayo Edebiri lap dance during performance in Los Angeles

Doechii brings Ayo Edebiri on stage for a lap dance during her Camp Flog Gnaw performance of “Crazy”

Doechii drew widespread attention at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles on Sunday after bringing actress Ayo Edebiri on stage for a lap dance during her performance. Footage of the moment circulated online shortly after the set, prompting extensive fan discussion.

The interaction occurred during Doechii’s performance of her 2022 track “Crazy.” Edebiri, known for her Emmy-winning role in The Bear, was rolled onstage while seated at what appeared to be a desk on wheels. As the desk was positioned at the centre of the stage, Doechii climbed atop it and performed a lap dance while continuing the song.

Viewers shared their reactions across social media. One person commented: “Poor ayo don’t even know what to do with allat… Lawd help her lmaooooooooo," while another comment said “Thank you, chef.”

Others referenced Edebiri’s viral comment about being “simply too seated,” originally posted in response to the trailer for the Hunter Schafer film Cuckoo.

The performance followed the conclusion of Doechii’s North American “Live from the Swamp” tour. The tour showcased music from her mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal, which won Best Rap Album at this year’s Grammys.

Her track “Anxiety” also featured prominently and is nominated for five categories at the 2026 Grammy Awards, including record of the year.

Camp Flog Gnaw drew additional attention over the weekend for Childish Gambino’s merchandise table, which displayed “cancel cards” referencing public figures such as Drake, R. Kelly and Diddy.

While the festival’s first weekend was cancelled due to heavy rain in Los Angeles, the second weekend proceeded as planned and streamed on Prime Video.
