Jake Bongiovi steps up to look after baby daughter in newly surfaced video following backlash
Earlier, fans criticised Bongiovi for not helping Millie Bobby Brown with their baby during recent outings

A newly surfaced video allegedly recorded a few days before the viral paparazzi clash in Soho is prompting fresh discussion about Jake Bongiovi’s role as a father.
In the footage, Bongiovi is seen carefully placing his daughter, secured in her carrier, into a black van while Millie Bobby Brown, dressed in a black coat, heeled boots and carrying a black purse, rushes into London’s Corinthia Hotel reportedly for Stranger Things Season 5 press duties.

Fans reacted quickly after the clip spread online, with comments such as "they bullied him into being a father", "he read the comments lol" and "he saw all the hate about him being deadbeat". Others highlighted that the video predates the now-viral Soho incident by around two days, suggesting that online criticism over his behaviour may have been based on incomplete context.
The earlier viral clip showed Brown confronting paparazzi after being surrounded while carrying the couple’s daughter. In that video, she was heard saying "I'm holding my baby, do not play with me right now" as photographers closed in.

Viewers focused on Bongiovi walking behind Brown, with some accusing him of offering too little support during the tense moment.
Previous online discussion intensified when photos showed Brown holding the baby while Bongiovi stayed a few steps back, leading some fans to label his behaviour a red flag. Others defended him by sharing images of him holding the baby at different moments and arguing that the criticism was disproportionate.
Brown and Bongiovi, who married in 2024 and adopted their daughter in August 2025, have repeatedly stressed their commitment to privacy.
Brown has described motherhood as transformative, while praising Bongiovi as “the most amazing dad” and highlighting their shared focus on raising their daughter with care and discretion.
