Macaulay Culkin revived his Home Alone character, Kevin McAllister, for a new ad campaign from Home Instead, a business offering non-medical in-home care for seniors.

In the 60-second video for the campaign titled "Home But Not Alone”, Culkin stands outside the iconic house from the movie during winters.

“I just worry about Mom being by herself, you know? What if she falls down or gets snowed-in?” a now-grown-up Kevin tells someone on the phone while he bubble-wraps everything in the front yard. “They never did catch the South Bend Shovel Slayer".

The subsequent shots feature a shout out to "Old Man" Marley as Kevin reunites with his granddaughter who is shoveling snow on the sidewalk.

As he explains what his situation, the woman offers advice, saying, “The scariest part is starting that conversation. And at least you’ll know and can stop worrying about it. It’s not easy. But how you feel about family is a complicated thing … How was that?”

Additionally, the campaign, directed by Jody Hill, includes three other companion ads that will air through January 11 during presentations of Home Alone, special holiday programming and college football.

“When we think about the holidays, we think of families being together and watching classics like Home Alone,” Kim Atkinson, chief marketing officer for Home Instead, stated in a news release.

“Starting the conversation about care can be difficult for both aging parents and their adult children, but it’s the essential first step to ensuring connection and dignity. This campaign helps families take that step with compassion, humor, and hope.”
