Lecture: Public decision making examined
Prof Tom Christensen from the University of Oslo, Norway delivered a lecture on Public Decision Making Process

“Public sector decision making is not necessarily rational…It involves political, cultural, geographical and historical factors,” Prof Tom Christensen from the University of Oslo, Norway said on Wednesday. He was delivering a lecture on Perspectives on Public Decision Making Process at the Institute of Administrative Sciences, Punjab University. Daniyal Aziz, the former National Reconstruction Bureau chairman, was the chief guest. He talked about history of bureaucracy in Pakistan and noted its dominance in the public administrative system.
