Dastagir links PTI talks to 'seriousness'

ISLAMABAD:

PML-N leader Khurram Dastgir has said that meaningful dialogue with the PTI can take place only if the party shows "seriousness" and puts public welfare "above personal or political interests".

He made these remarks while talking to a private TV channel on Sunday.

He further criticised PTI for being "overly focused" on the release of their chairman rather than addressing the pressing needs of the public.

The PML-N leader noted that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were suffering due to rising terrorism and poor governance, which demands immediate attention from political parties.
