BTS has officially completed the recording process for their highly anticipated full-group album, with all seven members involved, the band announced during a surprise livestream on November 1. In the live broadcast, Jimin confirmed: “We have finished recording… It can now come next spring.”
The album is scheduled for release in spring 2026 and will mark the group’s first full-group studio effort since their military service hiatus and solo projects.
All seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook—have reunited for this project. Their management label, HYBE Corporation, previously announced their comeback and a world tour for 2026.
In the livestream, the group also confirmed preparations for a comprehensive global tour to accompany the album, stating: “We’re planning a world tour to go along with the new album. We’ll be visiting different parts of the world, so please look forward to it.”
While exact dates and locations have not yet been revealed, industry reports suggest the tour will be the largest in BTS’s history, potentially spanning more than 60 shows across multiple continents.
This announcement comes after all members fulfilled their mandatory South Korean military service, clearing the way for the group’s reunion.
With recording concluded and tour plans underway, 2026 promises to be a landmark year for the band and their global fan base.
