LoL Worlds 2025 sets new viewership record ahead of Grand Final as T1 advance to semi-finals
2025 League of Legends World Championship hit 3.27 million peak viewers during T1’s quarter-final victory

The 2025 League of Legends World Championship has achieved its highest viewership peak so far, with 3.27 million viewers tuning in during the final quarter-final match between T1 and Anyone’s Legend, according to esports analytics platform Esports Charts.
The South Korean team’s 3–1 victory not only secured their place in the semi-finals but also set a new benchmark for the tournament, surpassing the previous peak of 2.5 million viewers by over 700,000.
The result further highlights T1’s continued dominance in global esports, as they feature in four of the five most-watched matches of the event so far — each attracting more than two million viewers.
In total, Worlds 2025 has already accumulated over 90.3 million hours watched across its 75-hour airtime, placing it among the ten most-watched League of Legends tournaments in history even before the semi-finals.
Co-streamer Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont led individual broadcaster viewership, peaking at 288,615 viewers on his channel during the quarter-finals. Riot Games’ continued support for co-streaming appears to have played a key role in expanding audience engagement throughout the competition.
For T1, the team’s journey has been particularly noteworthy. Starting from the Play-In stage, they are now aiming for an unprecedented eighth World Championship final.
Should they win the tournament, star player Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok would claim his sixth Worlds title, further solidifying his standing as one of esports’ most successful figures.
The semi-finals will take place on November 1 and 2, with Gen.G facing KT Rolster and T1 meeting Top Esports. Winners will advance to the Grand Final on 9 November at Chengdu’s Dong’an Lake Sports Park.
As Worlds 2025 approaches its conclusion, industry analysts suggest the event could reach even higher viewership figures in its final stages.
