Twitch star Caseoh reveals how his parents helped him quit his day job

Twitch sensation Caseoh has opened up about the heartwarming role his parents played in helping him pursue a full-time career in streaming.

During an interview with VTuber Layna on October 26, the popular content creator revealed that both his mother and father were key figures in his decision to quit his day job and focus entirely on Twitch.

Caseoh, who began streaming in 2022, has since become one of the most recognized faces on the platform, best known for his hilarious horror game reactions and engaging personality. He even won Content Creator of the Year at the 2024 Game Awards. But, according to Caseoh, none of that would have happened without his parents’ support.

He shared that his father encouraged him to take a leap of faith, saying, “My dad was like, ‘Nah, it’s only gonna be one chance you get right here.’ We called the boss, and it was done.”

As for his mother, Caseoh said she was his first-ever “viewer,” watching him play games long before Twitch was part of his life. “She’s always been there for me,” he said emotionally. “Every night before she went to bed, she’d come in and watch me play for about an hour. She’s the GOAT.”

Fans online were moved by the touching story, with many praising his mom for supporting his passion from day one. Caseoh’s mother even moderates his Twitch chat and occasionally posts updates about him on X (formerly Twitter), showing that her support continues to this day.
