Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau reportedly plan Christmas getaway amid growing romance
Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are reportedly planning a private Christmas trip together after recent sightings

Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are reportedly planning to spend the upcoming Christmas holidays together after weeks of public appearances that have fuelled speculation about their relationship.
According to Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop, Perry and Trudeau are preparing for a private getaway following several months of what sources describe as “secret meetings.”
The pair were first spotted together in Santa Barbara, California, and later photographed walking hand-in-hand in Paris. A source told the outlet that the 41-year-old singer “calls Justin her ‘Maple Man’ — and she’s serious about spending the holidays together.”
The same insider added that Perry “wants snow, romance, and privacy — and he’s got plenty of all three in Ottawa.” Despite both maintaining demanding schedules, the two are said to be coordinating their time to enjoy a quiet holiday together. Perry is currently touring, while Trudeau is reportedly focusing on his post-political life.
“They’ve been talking about cozying up in Canada with fires, cocoa, and no cameras,” the insider noted, suggesting the couple’s wish to avoid public attention during the festive season.
Another source described the Hot n Cold singer as “smitten,” saying she has referred to this period as her “Canadian Christmas era.”
Reports also suggest that Perry and Trudeau’s connection may have begun earlier than publicly known. Multiple insiders claimed their bond “ignited months before” Perry’s separation from actor Orlando Bloom, adding that their private messages “got flirty fast” and eventually “turned into something real.”
Neither Perry nor Trudeau has publicly commented on the reports. For now, speculation continues to grow around their relationship as fans await confirmation of their rumoured holiday plans in Canada.
