Sydney Sweeney addresses plastic surgery speculation
The actor discussed long-running rumours about plastic surgery in a recent interview

Sydney Sweeney has dismissed long-running rumors about cosmetic enhancements, telling Variety she’s never had any procedures done.
“I’ve never gotten anything done,” the Euphoria star said in an interview. “I’m absolutely terrified of needles. No tattoos. Nothing. I’m going to age gracefully.”
The 28-year-old actor has often faced speculation about her looks, especially following her American Eagle campaign that played on the phrase “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans.”
Responding to old comparison photos circulating online, she said, “I’m 12 in that photo. Of course I’m going to look different, I have makeup on now, and I’m 15 years older.
Sweeney added that she once felt pressured to alter her face as a teen. “I have very strong eyebrow muscles,” she said. “And I had someone tell me to fix my face or else I’m not going to make it. I should get Botox. I was 16!”
Now preparing to star as boxer Christy Martin in Christy, Sweeney says she feels strong and confident in her body. “People think they know me, but they don’t,” she said. “When they say, ‘She’s a sex symbol,’ I’m like, ‘No, I just feel good and I’m doing it for myself.’”
As for rumors she might appear in a future James Bond film, Sweeney kept quiet: “I don’t know. But I’ve always been a huge fan of the franchise.”
