Rosalía releases ‘Berghain’ single ahead of ‘Lux’ album launch
Rosalía launches single ‘Berghain’ today ahead of album ‘Lux’ arriving 7 November 2025 via Columbia Records

Spanish superstar Rosalía is officially back with new music. Her upcoming album Lux is slated for release on 7 November 2025, via Columbia Records, marking her first full-length project since the acclaimed Motomami in 2022.
Today marks the drop of her lead single from the upcoming record. The track titled Berghain is available now, serving as the first taste of the Lux era. The announcement came via Rosalía’s official social media channels where she confirmed the single release date of 27 October 2025.
Berghain functions not only as a musical introduction but also as a thematic statement. The song is listed as part of the second movement of Lux, indicating the artist is structuring the album in four acts or “movements”. The thematic range includes spirituality, transformation, desire and transcendence, all of which align with Rosalía’s recent artistic direction.
The album build-up has been intense. Lux features 18 songs on its physical edition and collaborations with high-profile artists including Björk, Yves Tumor, Carminho and Estrella Morente. The project was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, under conductor Daníel Bjarnason, further emphasising the cinematic and orchestral ambition behind this release.
For fans tracking release details: the single Berghain is out now. The album Lux arrives 7 November 2025. To be fully up to speed you can pre-save Lux, stream or purchase the single, and bookmark any upcoming performances such as Rosalía’s planned live debut of the album at the LOS40 Music Awards in Santander that same evening.
This new era clearly marks a shift for Rosalía, from the flamenco-pop explorer of Motomami to a bold creator delving into orchestral soundscapes, spiritual motifs and expansive collaborations.
