Lily Allen’s new album West End Girl has fans buzzing after one track appears to take aim at her estranged husband, Stranger Things actor David Harbour — and possibly names the woman he allegedly cheated with.

In the song Tennis, Allen sings about betrayal, heartbreak, and a mysterious woman named “Madeline.” The lyrics include lines such as, “If it was just sex, I wouldn’t be jealous… You won’t play with me, and who the f--- is Madeline?” Fans believe “Madeline” is a pseudonym for Harbour’s alleged mistress, following reports that the pair split last December after Allen accused him of infidelity.

According to The Mirror, Harbour allegedly had a long-term affair with a costume designer and was even active on the exclusive dating app Raya during their marriage. Allen’s track has drawn comparisons to Beyoncé’s Sorry and Dolly Parton’s Jolene — both iconic songs confronting “the other woman.”

The song’s lyrics suggest the couple had an open relationship with strict boundaries about emotional connections and discretion. Allen sings, “We had an arrangement — be discreet and don’t be blatant… but you’re not a stranger, Madeline.”

Fans have flooded social media with reactions, calling the track “Lily’s Jolene moment.” One user wrote, “We got Jolene, Becky with the good hair, and now Madeline.”

While Allen hasn’t confirmed who “Madeline” really is, West End Girl has quickly become one of her most talked-about releases, marking a bold return to the brutally honest storytelling that first made her famous.
