Netflix has officially ordered Hollywood Arts, a new spinoff of Nickelodeon’s hit teen comedy Victorious, with Daniella Monet returning as Trina Vega.

The streamer commissioned 26 episodes, set to premiere on Netflix in 2026 before arriving on Nickelodeon and Paramount+.

Monet, who also serves as executive producer, will reprise her iconic role as Trina Vega — now a struggling actress who returns to her old high school, Hollywood Arts, as an unqualified substitute teacher. According to the official synopsis, Trina finds herself both clashing with and inspiring a new generation of talented students at the performing arts academy.

Production for Hollywood Arts begins soon in Vancouver. The series features a mix of new and familiar faces, including Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, Erika Swayze, and Martin Kamm, with Community star Yvette Nicole Brown appearing as a guest.

“Coming back as Trina alongside such a dynamic, powerful cast of newcomers is something I feel very lucky and grateful to do,” Monet shared. “Victorious was life-changing for all of us, and this is a chance to create something equally special.”

The show will be executive produced by Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin, who also serve as writers and showrunners, with Jonathan Judge directing the pilot. Farrow, who voiced Rex in the original series, returns to the creative team.

This marks the second Victorious spinoff after Sam & Cat, starring Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy. Original series creator Dan Schneider will not be involved following his 2018 departure from Nickelodeon after allegations of misconduct highlighted in Quiet on the Set.
