Police seize counterfeit currency, PIA, ANF letters

KARACHI:

Garden police have seized local and foreign currency, along with forged PIA and ANF appointment letters, fake cheques, counterfeit property documents, and materials used to produce fake US dollars.

A suspect, Behzad, has been arrested for allegedly being involved in producing the counterfeit currency. The accused was found in possession of fake Pakistani banknotes and US dollars, along with the other recovered items. He, along with his accomplices, is accused of defrauding citizens by promising them jobs and issuing fake appointment letters. Police reported that the suspect had been involved in counterfeiting for around four years.
