IHC halts auction of Zulfi Bukhari's property

ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday stayed the auction of PTI leader Zulfi Bukhari's family property and sought comments from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on a petition filed by his sister, Syeda Sakina Bukhari.

A division bench also directed NAB to submit the complete record of the property auction.

Senior lawyer Babar Awan appeared before the court on behalf of the petitioner.

Earlier, an accountability court had dismissed Sakina Bukhari's petition challenging the auction of her share in the property. That decision was subsequently challenged before the IHC.
