'Made in Pakistan' expo opens in Ethiopia

The 5th Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference (PATDC) and Made in Pakistan Exhibition opened at Millennium Hall, Addis Ababa, as per a statement issued on Friday.
Ethiopia's Ambassador to Pakistan Jemal Bakir and Foreign Ministry official Dewano Kedir praised Pakistan's proactive outreach and called the partnership a model for South-South cooperation.
The three-day event is jointly organised by Pakistan's Ministry of Commerce and Trade Development Authority (TDAP), in collaboration with the Embassy of Pakistan in Ethiopia.

Ambassador Mian Atif Sharif, Pakistan's envoy to Ethiopia, said the event reflects Pakistan's "Look Africa" policy and its commitment to deepen economic engagement with East Africa.
Minister (Trade & Investment) Basit Saleem Shah said the platform will "create lasting business linkages and build a shared future of prosperity."
TDAP's Director General Abdul Karim Memon presented Pakistan's export potential in textiles, pharmaceuticals, engineering, and agriculture.
