Dylan Sprouse wins hearts for raising endometriosis awareness for Barbara Palvin
Dylan Sprouse earns praise for raising endometriosis awareness for Barbara Palvin on Victoria’s Secret red carpet

Dylan Sprouse has been praised for using the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show red carpet to raise awareness about endometriosis in honour of his wife, Barbara Palvin. While Palvin returned to the runway after undergoing surgery for the condition earlier this year, Sprouse used his platform to continue spreading awareness, wearing a yellow endometriosis awareness pin and handing out more to people at the event.
Speaking to E! on the red carpet, Sprouse explained that he wanted to highlight his wife’s experience and help others who might be struggling in silence. “Barbara just went through endo-surgery and I’m handing these out tonight to raise awareness,” he said. “She was so strong to go through that herself, and once she posted about it, a ton of women reached out to her saying they related.”

Barbara Palvin, 32, revealed in August that she had undergone surgery to remove tissue growing outside her uterus after years of severe period pain, fatigue and other symptoms she had initially dismissed as normal. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she described how early diagnosis and treatment were essential and encouraged others to seek help if they suspected something similar.
Endometriosis is a chronic and often painful condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside it, affecting the ovaries, fallopian tubes and surrounding organs. It can cause heavy periods, pain during sex or urination, and, in severe cases, infertility. Palvin said her surgery and recovery had given her a new lease of life, describing it as a “new chapter” and expressing gratitude for her improved health.
Fans online have praised Sprouse’s gesture as an example of genuine allyship. One user wrote, “I love how supportive he is of her,” while another added, “It’s really refreshing to see a man use his platform to support a women’s issue.” Others noted how Sprouse’s actions stood out as heartfelt rather than performative, calling the couple “genuine and inspiring.”
Sprouse, known for his candid humour and long-time support of Palvin’s career, concluded his interview by calling his wife “incredibly tough” and saying he was “proud to call her my wife.” His comments and visible support have sparked widespread discussion about the importance of men advocating for women’s health and awareness around endometriosis, a condition still too often misunderstood or ignored.
