1,000 flood-hit families receive food, relief goods

500 children received stationery, toys, gift packs, 600 families in Jalalpur Pirwala, 400 families in Shujabad benefit

SIALKOT/ GUJRANWALA / MULTAN:

Flood relief packages were distributed among 1,000 affected families in Jalalpur Pirwala and Shujabad on Wednesday.

Renowned singer and humanitarian Hadiqa Kiani, in collaboration with Alkhidmat Foundation, distributed the the aid packages which included dry rations, bedding, quilts, water coolers, mosquito nets, floor mats, utensils, and other essential household items.

Additionally, around 500 children received stationery, toys, and gift packs. A total of 600 families in Jalalpur Pirwala and 400 families in Shujabad benefited from the initiative.

Kiani interacted with women and children to better understand the challenges they continue to face in the aftermath of the floods. The ceremony was attended by Syed Abdul Qadir, President Alkhidmat Multan; Shoaib Hashmi, Senior Manager Media Relations along with volunteers.
