Myth says no one in streaming industry respects Dr DisRespect after deleted social media rant
Streamer Myth criticizes Dr DisRespect following his deleted post attacking critics

Popular streamer Ali “Myth” Kabbani has publicly criticized Herschel “Guy” Beahm, better known as Dr DisRespect, saying that “no one” in the streaming industry respects him. The remarks came after Dr DisRespect made a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter) where he lashed out at critics, calling them “fat, depressed anime profile liberal idiots.”
Myth quote-tweeted Dr DisRespect’s post, writing, “No one in this industry respects you, man. You’ll have all the money and viewers in the world, big whoop. But we all know what you did, you clown.” His comments referred to the 2024 controversy when former Twitch employee Cody Conners alleged that Dr DisRespect was permanently banned from Twitch in 2020 for inappropriate conversations with a minor through the platform’s Whispers feature.
In his deleted post, Dr DisRespect claimed he had “flip phone talks with a few different councils,” including one that represented Johnny Depp, regarding possible defamation lawsuits. He argued that it was difficult to prove malicious intent behind the leaks that revealed Twitch’s alleged reason for banning him.
Gaming journalist Rod “Slasher” Breslau later responded to Dr DisRespect’s claims, accusing him of lying about the situation for years. Breslau wrote on X that his reporting did not rely on Conners as a source and alleged that Dr DisRespect “knew” he was sending explicit messages to a minor.
The controversy continues to divide the streaming community, with many questioning Dr DisRespect’s version of events. Despite repeated denials, the 43-year-old streamer has faced ongoing scrutiny since his Twitch ban, while maintaining a strong fan base on YouTube
