Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo spark buzz after joint appearance at Paul McCartney's LA concert

The sighting has attracted widespread attention given the reported tension between the pair in recent years

Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo have prompted renewed speculation about their relationship after being seen together at a Los Angeles event over the weekend.

The two artists were photographed in the same social group during Paul McCartney’s intimate concert, attended by a number of high-profile guests. Images shared online show Swift and Rodrigo standing close together among a cluster, although it remains unclear whether they directly interacted.

The sighting has attracted widespread attention given the reported tension between the pair in recent years. Swift and collaborator Jack Antonoff were previously granted retroactive songwriting credits on Rodrigo’s hit “Deja Vu” due to similarities with Swift’s “Cruel Summer”, which Rodrigo had cited as an influence. Following that development, public interactions between the two appeared to diminish.

Rodrigo addressed speculation in a 2023 interview, stating she did not have “beef with anyone”, a comment widely interpreted as an attempt to dispel rumours without escalating discussion.

Online reactions to the latest images have been mixed. Some fans have welcomed the possibility of reconciliation. One TikTok user said, “Finally the war is over”, while another wrote, “OMG thank God like we can put the alleged beef to rest now”.

Others remain unconvinced, noting the absence of clear interaction. One viewer commented, “I haven’t seen a single picture of them talking to each other or even looking at each other”.

The gathering itself drew interest for its combination of figures linked through past collaborations and reported disputes. Despite the ambiguity, some observers view the shared appearance, alongside Rodrigo’s engagement with Swift-related content earlier in 2025, as a sign that relations may have softened.
