The central spokesperson of Darul Uloom Haqqania has expressed deep concern over the recent tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, urging both neighboring Islamic countries to resolve their issues through dialogue, patience, and understanding.
In a policy statement issued on Monday, the spokesperson said that war and hostility would be highly detrimental not only for Pakistan and Afghanistan but for the entire region. He emphasized that Pakistan has always maintained a soft corner for Afghanistan and has extended political and moral support to the Afghan people during difficult times.
He pointed out that Pakistan played a positive role during the Soviet and US invasions, as well as in addressing natural disasters and internal unrest in Afghanistan. Therefore, he said, Afghanistan should acknowledge Pakistan's sacrifices, while Pakistan's leadership must also avoid policies that could push the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan closer to anti-Pakistan elements.
