Bratz goes plastic with new ‘Mean Girls’ Spring Fling dolls
Bratz has officially announced a new collaboration that is already sending fans into a frenzy: the Bratz x Mean Girls Spring Fling collection. The line reimagines three of the film’s most iconic characters as collector’s edition dolls, styled in the outfits and accessories fans know best from the 2004 teen classic.
The collaboration features Regina George, Cady Heron and Janis Ian, each transformed into Bratz dolls with a level of detail aimed squarely at collectors and nostalgic movie lovers. Regina comes with two complete outfits, including her pink Spring Fling dress and her Burn Book scene look. The doll even includes accessories like the infamous Burn Book itself and a shard of the broken crown from the dance finale. Cady’s doll embraces her dual persona, offering her Mathlete competition outfit alongside her casual school wardrobe, plus a crown accessory that mirrors the climactic ending. Janis is dressed in her purple gown from the dance, as well as her signature alternative everyday style, and comes complete with a Kalteen bar prop, a nod to one of the film’s most memorable schemes.
Each doll is priced at $70 and will be released in staggered drops across October. Regina will go on sale October 9, followed by Janis on October 16 and Cady on October 23. The dolls will be available exclusively through Bratz’s official website, with limited numbers expected to sell out quickly. Packaging has been designed with bold graphics and scene-specific references, ensuring the line appeals not only to younger fans but also to adult collectors.
The announcement has sparked excitement online, with many calling the line one of Bratz’s most creative collaborations yet. Social media users have already been sharing side-by-side comparisons of the dolls with the original film scenes, praising the accuracy of the details. The release comes at a time when nostalgia-driven pop culture merchandise is thriving, and Bratz has positioned itself firmly in the trend by tapping into the enduring popularity of Mean Girls.
With a blend of early 2000s nostalgia, iconic character styling and limited-edition packaging, the Bratz x Mean Girls dolls are set to be one of the brand’s biggest collector drops of the year.
