Maggie Baugh, a 25-year-old country musician from Boca Raton, Florida, has recently grabbed headlines as Keith Urban’s guitarist amid his divorce from Nicole Kidman.
Baugh began her musical journey at six with the violin and performed at Carnegie Hall by seventh grade. Initially trained in classical music, she transitioned to country in eighth grade and moved to Nashville at 18 to pursue her musical career.
Known for her versatility, Baugh plays multiple instruments and blends traditional country with contemporary influences.
She recently made headlines due to a viral onstage moment with Keith Urban, when he altered the lyrics of his song,The Fighter, originally inspired by Nicole Kidman, to reference her: “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.”
The clip, shared by Baugh on social media, fueled speculation about their relationship, though her father, Chuck Baugh, emphasized that it is strictly professional, calling it “more of a musician thing than a dating thing.”
Baugh joined Keith Urban’s band in 2024 as a utility player, performing on his High and Alive World Tour and appearing on major television shows, including The Today Show, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Kelly Clarkson.
