Theatre festival lights up Hyderabad
The 13-day Hyderabad Theatre Festival 2025, jointly organised by the Arts Council of Pakistan and the Sindh Culture Department, has opened with vibrant festivities at the Sindh Museum.
The festival was inaugurated by ACP President Ahmed Shah, who highlighted Hyderabad's rich cultural tapestry, calling it the "heartbeat of Sindh" and emphasising the power of theatre to bridge divides. The festival will feature over 150 artistes performing in Sindhi and Urdu. The opening play, Hosho (Urdu), launched the event, with daily performances scheduled at Mumtaz Mirza Auditorium through October 8. Entry is free to the public.
