Jonathan Majors has sparked speculation about his future with Marvel. The 36-year-old actor, who was dropped by Disney in December 2023 after being convicted of assault and harassment, has hinted at a possible return as Kang the Conqueror.
Majors was asked about the rumours during an appearance at the Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles, where he attended with wife Meagan Good.
When pressed on whether he would reprise his role, Majors smiled and told The US Sun, “I cannot say anything about that.” He then added, “Well it’s a multi-verse, so there’s always that. Always a lot of opportunity for that,” before acknowledging he was “very glad” to hear that some fans still want him back.
The actor previously played Kang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, where Marvel had planned to make the character a central villain in the ongoing multiverse storyline. Following his conviction, several scripts were rewritten and projects altered. Since then, Majors has not taken on any major film or television work.
Outside of his professional challenges, Majors has found stability in his personal life. He began dating actress Meagan Good in May 2023, and the couple married in March 2025.
While Disney has not commented on the speculation, Majors’ remarks leave open the possibility of a future Marvel project.
