Videos from Evelyn Ha’s YouTube content have resurfaced online, drawing renewed scrutiny of Ben Pasternak’s behaviour following his recent arrest in New York.

The clips, widely circulated on social media, show interactions between the influencer and the Australian entrepreneur that some viewers have described as concerning in light of current allegations.

In one segment, Pasternak is heard asking, “Would you rather we go swimming in the pool over there, and I hold your head underwater, and you die?” before shifting tone moments later.

Another clip shows Ha reacting to his comments about her appearance, with Pasternak saying, “On a scale of 1 to 10, how pretty do I look today?” and later adding, “Below usual.” Ha responds by questioning him, while also remarking, “I just feel scared.”

A further clip shows him pushing Ha onto a bed with force, after which she is heard laughing and saying, “thats abusive.”

The resurfaced footage has prompted discussion among viewers, with some suggesting the clips indicate earlier signs of problematic behaviour.

These reactions come after Pasternak, 26, was reportedly arrested and charged with one count of strangulation and two counts of assault with intent to cause physical injury in connection with an alleged incident on March 31.

According to previous reporting, Pasternak has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is scheduled to appear before the New York Criminal Court on June 11.

A statement cited by the AFR from public relations executive Dini von Mueffling said, “Ben unilaterally denies the accusation Evelyn Ha has made against him.”

Ha recently confirmed the end of the relationship in a YouTube video, stating she left after “serious boundaries were crossed” and is focusing on her safety and well-being.
