Workshop on combatting drugs held

A five-day workshop on the topic of "Establishing a Harmonised Approach to Combat Drug Trafficking" has begun. National and international stakeholders participated in its inaugural session.

The objective of the drive is to further strengthen joint efforts against drugs. For this purpose, a National Counter Narcotics Control Center is being established at the ANF Headquarters in collaboration with UNODC and INL Pakistan. ANF DG Major General Abdul Moeed addressed the inaugural ceremony while UNODC and INL representatives stressed joint initiatives. Brigadier Syed Imran of ANF gave a briefing on NCNC.
