The Government of Sindh has announced free electric scooters for women under the "Pink Scooters Program" will start this week.

The program is specifically designed for women who rely on public transport for education, employment, or other essential needs. The Sindh Mass Transit Authority is compiling the records of women and female students applying, and scooters will be allotted based on merit and need.

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that the Sindh government is taking a revolutionary step by providing this facility to women and female students, making their daily commute easier. "This scheme will not only save time and expenses but also provide women with safe and dignified travel."

The minister further said that the government has devised a transparent and simple mechanism to ensure maximum participation of women in this initiative. The Sindh government aims to empower women in every sphere of life, and this scheme will prove to be a positive step in that direction.
