Just a month after Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater launched to strong critical and commercial success, Konami is already looking ahead—and asking fans which Metal Gear title should be remade next.

As part of its lead-up to the Tokyo Game Show, some players have come across a “post-viewing survey” expected to be sent out after the upcoming Metal Gear Production Hotline at TGS2025, a livestream scheduled for Thursday, September 25.

While most of the survey’s questions are fairly standard—like gauging interest in the returning Fox Hunt multiplayer mode in Delta, or asking what fans want in future broadcasts—one question stands out:
“Please select all of the following Metal Gear series titles that you would like to see remade.”

This comes just weeks after the release of Delta: Snake Eater, a modern remake of the third mainline Metal Gear Solid game, and it signals that Konami is actively seeking fan input to help determine the franchise’s future remake roadmap.

According to a screenshot shared by MGSMGN on X/Twitter, the options include:

  • Metal Gear

  • Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake

  • Metal Gear Solid

  • Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

  • Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

  • Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

  • Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Notably missing from the list are spin-offs like Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Metal Gear Survive, suggesting Konami is focusing on core entries in the franchise. The inclusion of the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 also hints at the possibility of going back even further in the series’ timeline.
