Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has directed textbook review committees to ensure error-free and high-quality publications, warning that delays or mistakes will not be tolerated.
Chairing a meeting on Monday, the minister said that curriculum errors could have damaging effects on future generations and emphasised that all textbooks must undergo timely review.
He added that excuses for delays in the process would not be accepted. For the first time, teachers from both the School Education Department and the Higher Education Department have been prioritized in the review process.
