Uncovered manholes: Dealers protest garbage build-up

Scores of shopkeepers, irked by the lack of sanitation, staged a protest demonstration at the Racecourse Road against the North Sindh Urban Services Corporation on Tuesday. The shopkeepers consisted of auto parts and motor works dealers, who want the garbage removed and manholes covered. For their part, however, Hassan Ali Shah of the corporation, told The Express Tribune that their staff was cleaning each and every locality in the city and six FIRs have been lodged against the theft of manhole covers.
