A host of international artists and public figures — including Billie Eilish, Cillian Murphy, Joaquin Phoenix, and Steve Coogan — have appeared in a powerful new video in support of Together For Palestine, ahead of a major benefit concert taking place tonight (September 17) at London’s OVO Arena Wembley.

The concert, organized by musician and activist Brian Eno, brings together a lineup of prominent artists such as Damon Albarn, Bastille, Cat Burns, Greentea Peng, James Blake, Jamie xx, and Hot Chip. According to Eno, the event aims to "raise our voices" and "reaffirm our shared humanity" in light of the ongoing crisis in Gaza.

The newly released one-minute video features messages from high-profile actors, musicians, and activists, urging support for a ceasefire and humanitarian relief. Among the first to appear are Peaky Blinders actor Cillian Murphy and Joker star Joaquin Phoenix. Also featured are Sharon Horgan, Annie Mac, Peter Gabriel, and Steve Coogan, who urges: “It’s important to speak out now, not when this is over.”

Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas declare they are “together for Palestine,” echoing sentiments shared by others such as Brian Cox, Ben Howard, Chris O’Dowd, and Nan Goldin. Activist and author Michael Wayne Rosen accuses political leaders of complicity in civilian deaths in Gaza and the West Bank.

The concert will be live-streamed globally, with proceeds going to Palestinian-led organizations including Taawon, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, and Palestine Medical Relief Service. Exclusive merchandise is also available through the event’s official online store.

Additional performers and supporters announced include Celeste, PinkPantheress, Leigh-Anne, Rina Sawayama, Riz Ahmed, Elyanna, and Saint Levant. Paul Weller, Florence Pugh, Eric Cantona, and Neneh Cherry have also pledged their support.

Brian Eno explained his motivation for the event, citing a long-standing silence on Palestine within the arts community, often due to fear of backlash. “We can’t remain silent,” he said. “This is a chance for us to stand together and say: this can’t continue.”

A separate benefit, Gig for Gaza, curated by Paul Weller, is scheduled for October 17 at London’s Troxy, featuring Primal Scream, Inhaler, and Maverick Sabre.
