After three seasons of love triangles, heartbreak, and self-discovery, The Summer I Turned Pretty is coming to an end. The Prime Video series is set to wrap on Wednesday, Sept. 17, with the release of its Season 3 finale.
The show, based on Jenny Han’s popular book trilogy, has centered on Isabel “Belly” Conklin (Lola Tung) and her relationships with brothers Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno). Over the course of its run, the series has explored themes of first love, growing up, and the fleeting magic of summer.
Season 3, which unfolded over 11 episodes, has taken fans from emotional moments at home to a Paris interlude for Belly, who has been enjoying a new chapter in the City of Lights. Meanwhile, Jeremiah has been finding ways to heal with the help of Denise, while Conrad is traveling to Brussels for work.
Although details about the finale remain under wraps, Han—who serves as the series’ executive producer—told Entertainment Weekly earlier this month that Episode 11 is “not just an epilogue.” She added that the conclusion will surprise audiences, particularly in how much of Belly’s Paris storyline is explored.
Season 3 episode titles have reflected a recurring theme of endings, including “Last Season,” “Last Dance,” and “Last Kiss.” The title for the 11th and final episode has not yet been revealed.
The series finale will be available to stream on Prime Video beginning Wednesday at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT. All prior seasons and the first 10 episodes of Season 3 are already available on the platform.
While Han has said “never say never” when asked about the possibility of a Season 4, for now, fans should expect Belly’s journey to conclude with this week’s finale.
