The Together for Palestine benefit concert has confirmed its final star-studded line-up, with new additions including Florence Pugh and Paul Weller.
Taking place at London’s Wembley Arena on September 17, the concert has already sold out, though fans worldwide can tune in via livestream starting at 7pm.
Alongside the fresh announcements, the event will feature Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, Steve Coogan, Riz Ahmed, and Khalid Abdalla, with Ruth Negga also confirmed.
Musical guests joining the night include Amena, Neneh Cherry, Lana Lubany, Madame Gandhi, Sura Abdo, Yasmeen Ayyashi, Ysee, and the London Community Gospel Choir.
Hosting duties will be led by presenter Laura Whitmore and comedian Guz Khan.
Speaking about the significance of the evening, Khan said that when children in Gaza face “bombs instead of books,” silence is no longer acceptable.
He called the event a statement of solidarity, love, and recognition: “We see you, we stand with you.”
The benefit, organized by Brian Eno, also boasts previously announced performers such as Damon Albarn, King Krule, Bastille, Rina Sawayama, Jamie XX, Hot Chip, Paloma Faith, James Blake, and Sampha.
All proceeds from ticket and merchandise sales will go toward Palestinian organisations including Taawon, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, and the Palestinian Medical Relief Society via Choose Love.
