
A Metro Bus traveling from Islamabad to Rawalpindi developed a technical fault near Chandni Chowk Station on Murree Road, creating panic among passengers after its doors failed to open. In the commotion, one passenger sustained minor injuries.
According to details, the bus broke down shortly after passing Chandni Chowk Station. Sources said the hydraulic system malfunctioned, preventing the automated doors from opening immediately. Passengers grew restless and attempted to open the doors themselves. After some time, Metro Bus staff managed to unlock the doors, allowing passengers to disembark onto the track. Videos of the incident later went viral on social media.
One passenger, identified as Khalil, fell during the rush and suffered minor injuries. He was shifted to Benazir Bhutto Hospital by fellow passengers, where he received first aid.
