Marvel Rivals Season 4 is officially set to begin on September 12, 2025, introducing new content, leaks, and a rumored hero addition.

The update will conclude the ongoing Chrono Storm event and Luxury Pass, with a major patch expected following a scheduled downtime of three to four hours starting at 12 AM UTC. Servers are anticipated to return by 3 PM UTC, with file sizes likely comparable to previous patches of up to 35 GB.

According to leaks, Season 4 will debut Angela, the Asgardian Goddess known from Marvel Comics as the daughter of Odin and Freyja. She is expected to join the game as a melee-focused hero with flying mechanics, wielding both a spear and bow. Though NetEase has not officially confirmed her abilities, Angela’s addition marks a significant expansion of the roster.

The season will also introduce the K’un L’un map, a location tied to Iron Fist’s lore, alongside the possibility of a new Maveth map hinted at in the official Marvel Rivals artbook.

The Battle Pass theme for Season 4 is reported to be “Fruit of Immortality,” featuring exclusive skins such as Mecha Moon Knight, Dark Phoenix, Red Loki with feathers, and a Wasteland Ultron. Additionally, two new team-ups are expected: Human Torch, Black Panther, and Psylocke forming one alliance, and Venom teaming up with Captain America in another.

Looking ahead, leaks suggest Daredevil will headline Season 4.5, following recent datamined voice lines. While unconfirmed, the addition of Daredevil would mark another major character debut for the game.
