YouTuber and attorney Law By Mike has announced plans to sue Roblox over child safety concerns, citing the platform’s alleged failure to protect minors from predatory behavior.

The announcement comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding Roblox’s handling of safety measures and its response to community vigilantes.

In a video titled “We’re Suing Roblox,” Law By Mike said the company has not invested enough in moderation to match its large user base. He referenced a lawsuit filed earlier this year involving a minor identified as DH, which accused Roblox of marketing itself as a safe digital playground while failing to prevent adults from contacting children.

Law By Mike revealed that he is partnering with the legal team behind Schlep, a well-known Roblox content creator who gained attention for confronting alleged predators on the platform. Roblox banned Schlep’s account in August 2025, citing violations of its policies against vigilante groups.

While Law By Mike has announced his legal action, Schlep clarified that he has not filed a lawsuit himself. On social media, he initially celebrated the collaboration, posting, “Law By Mike is teaming up with my lawyers.” However, he later issued a correction, emphasizing that no lawsuit had been filed and that his focus remains on child safety.

Law By Mike has directed potential victims to his website, IThinkIHaveACase.com, inviting those who believe they have been affected on Roblox to reach out to his firm.

The case adds to growing scrutiny of Roblox, which has recently faced criticism over child safety, community moderation, and its handling of high-profile controversies.
