Meek Mill has pushed back against the idea of “street loyalty,” calling it a myth, after rapper 6ix9ine reignited their feud by questioning his past collaboration with Young Thug. The exchange surfaced following Young Thug’s leaked police interrogation footage, which has fueled debate across the hip-hop community.

6ix9ine, known for his controversial legal history, shared a screenshot of what appeared to be a tweet from Meek Mill. The post criticized individuals labeled as “rats” in hip-hop, referencing Nipsey Hussle’s death. However, the authenticity of the tweet remains uncertain, and Meek has not confirmed it.

Using the alleged post as leverage, 6ix9ine called out Meek for his 2017 track We Ball with Young Thug. He wrote, “Question since you always had an opinion YOU STILL PERFORMING WE BALL?”

Meek Mill did not directly address 6ix9ine but responded more broadly through his Instagram Story on September 1. In the post, he rejected the notion of street ethics and encouraged followers to focus on investing, trading, technology, and entrepreneurship instead. “Street glorification is a joke. Of course there are no morals,” Meek wrote, adding that he plans to further explain why “the streets [are] a full myth” in an upcoming interview.

Meanwhile, 6ix9ine has continued targeting Atlanta artists like Lil Baby, Future, and 21 Savage for staying quiet about Young Thug’s interrogation footage. In the leaked clip, Thug appears to share his phone number with law enforcement while asking them to keep it secret.

6ix9ine questioned the lack of backlash toward Thug compared to others in similar situations, while Meek Mill has so far avoided engaging directly with the accusations.
