Job-seekers attack textile firm

Tension erupted near Hassan Panwar Goth on the National Highway when a group of workers stormed into a private textile company after being denied recruitment. Six security guards were injured in the incident. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.

Workers who had come to seek employment at the textile company became violent when their recruitment request was rejected. They forced their way into the company premises and assaulted the security staff posted at the gate.

Six security guards sustained injuries. Mob also caused chaos and damage inside the company before fleeing the scene. Police registered a case against 20 to 25 unidentified men.
