Offset has made it clear that marriage is no longer in his future. The Migos rapper revealed on the Full Send Podcast that he is done with the idea of tying the knot following his highly publicized split from Cardi B.
“It’s not for me. I’ve done it, had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been complete,” Offset said, explaining that he has already experienced what marriage has to offer. He added that the process felt final, describing it as a chapter he has closed for good.
Offset and Cardi B secretly married in September 2017 and share three children: Kulture, Wave, and Blossom. Their relationship was marked by several ups and downs before Cardi filed for divorce for the second time in August 2024. Legal proceedings are still underway.
The Atlanta rapper also admitted that he would not recommend marriage to others. “No, I would tell you don’t get married,” he said, noting the strain relationships place on personal freedom and career responsibilities. “Even getting a girlfriend is such a big commitment—how we move, like our career. I’m tired,” he explained.
Offset’s comments come as Cardi B reportedly moves forward with her personal life. Multiple outlets have linked the Grammy-winning rapper to NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, suggesting a new chapter for both artists following their split.
Offset’s blunt perspective adds another layer to the ongoing public interest in his and Cardi’s relationship, one of hip hop’s most-watched unions.
