Three people were killed and 16 others injured when a passenger van travelling from Mansehra to Mahandri collided with a speeding dumper truck at Boli on Saturday.
According to police, two passengers died on the spot, while a third succumbed to his injuries after being taken to a hospital. Among the injured were three police officials. The deceased were identified as Taus Khan and Fazal Kareem, both serving with the SSU police, and Haji Sadiq, a resident of Mahandri Jareed.
The injured, hailing from Mahandri, Kohistan, Shangla, and Jareed, were provided first aid at Balakot THQ Hospital.
