JI flays 'mayor's diatribe'

Leader of the Opposition in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation City Council Saifuddin Advocate lashed out at Mayor Murtaza Wahab for "diatribe against Jamaat-e-Islami."

Mayor Wahab's diatribe against Jamaat-e-Islami is a reflection of self-defeat and an attempt to cover the worst failure on part of the PPP government in the aftermath of recent rains in Karachi, Saif said in response to the allegations against the JI by the mayor Karachi. He further said that the mayor's claim regarding provision of Rs1 billion fund to each town was totally made up and misleading statement.
