Kseniya Alexandrova, a former Miss Universe contestant from Russia, tragically passed away on August 12 at the age of 30, weeks after suffering severe injuries in a car accident. The incident occurred on July 5 in the Tver Oblast region of Russia, when an elk unexpectedly crashed through the windshield of the car she was traveling in.

According to reports, Alexandrova was in the passenger seat while her husband was driving their Porsche Panamera. The elk suddenly jumped onto the road, and before they could react, it collided with the vehicle. Alexandrova’s husband, speaking to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, described the moment as a blur, with the impact causing his wife to lose consciousness and the car becoming covered in blood. Emergency services arrived shortly after, and Alexandrova was rushed to a hospital in Moscow. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries weeks later.

Alexandrova had been married for just four months before the accident. In addition to her modeling career, she represented Russia in the 2017 Miss Universe pageant and was also the first runner-up in that year’s Miss Russia competition. Beyond her pageant achievements, Alexandrova held a degree in psychology from Moscow Pedagogical State University, and had recently shared her dedication to the field on social media.

Her modeling agency, Modus Vivendis, confirmed her death on August 13, mourning the loss of a "bright and talented" individual. "Kseniya will forever remain a symbol of beauty, kindness, and inner strength," the agency wrote in a statement. The sudden loss has deeply affected those who knew her.
